It's your conceive of domiciliate so why not let Sony add some dream sound to it with the DAV-X1 Platinum DVD Dream System. Featuring S-FORCE Pro 2.1 adjoin appear technology which utilizes an all-digital affect with no analog conversion creating distinct separation of signals between front center and rear channels. The system's speakers are specially designed with two unique drivers in each. The drivers are fed by multiple discrete channels creating an "out of box" surround sound experience. Additional features include 1 Disc DVD/CD/SA-CD. HDMI 720p/1080i video upscale and S-Master Digital Amplifier. Bring the theater experience to your home with the DAV-X1 Platinum DVD conceive of System from Sony. I got it for about $600 which makes the system a lot more reasonable. Not worth $1000 MSRP. Compared to the Bose 321 the Sony has a higher quality create(nice metals instead of all plastic) tons more inputs(including HDMI) and much cheaper($600 vs... Pros: Excellent Picture Quality(HDMI input)
High Quality create and materials. Cons: Not true adjoin sound
Setup Menu looks outdated
. Bottom Line: null.

"Reed Richards - Mr. Fantastic Jerk!" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-27 22:22:35

authorise at first look you'd assume that this is one of those panels taken out of context to belie what's really happening in the scene. Surely there's some perfectly logical reason why Mr. Fantastic patriarch of comics' do superhero family the Fantastic Four is slapping his wife. Mr. Fantastic must be under some kind of mind control or that's his evil twin or he's trying to brush that red anemone off her speak and she's got to shut up so it doesn't go in her mouth. The interesting thing about this adorn is that if you put it in its original context it's just as bad:In an change surface broader context. Susan Storm the Invisible Girl is being object controlled which explains the 80s hooker outfit but not the mullet. Mr. Fantastic has to snap her out of it and his plan as seen here involves being a gigantic jerk. This being comics his plan works they defeat the villains. Mr. Fantastic bottles his nerd rage away again and the Invisible Girl (now "Woman") doesn't file a restraining request. You'd think the smartest man in the world would be able to come up with a exceed solution for mind control than "I'll strike some sense into her," but I guess not. Oh casual misogyny in comics where would the industry be without you?__________________________________________________I'm off to India for a few days kids. Photos when I get back.

"The Obama Campaign: Bleeding Iowa" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 18:56:00

At the Dos Amigos on 4th street in Rochester. MN I ducked inside. Running late. This was a meeting that I’d been looking send to for about a week and was eager to hear what would be said. It was late July. At the door the waiter greeted me with a thick Spanish accent. I told him I was here for the Obama for America meeting. He directed me drink the stairs into the basement. Reaching the bottom of the staircase. I looked out into a long table with about 50-60 people sitting around it. A bunco man who looked like a close relative of actor only with a fake-bake tan was speaking to a very interested group. I worried about interrupting the speaker so I tiptoed around to the end of the table and sat between a middle-aged woman wearing far more make up than she should legally be allowed and a young fellow wearing those thick framed designer glasses which screamed “Bohemian” but actually serve the dual intend of conspicuous consuming yet being nerdy/trendy. So here I was at the Obama for America meeting in Rochester. MN. There were all sorts of populate attending from all walks of life. Everyone seemed to be very positive and spoke highly of the prospects of an Obama presidency and colluded along the belief that he would bring about a lot of much needed change. I was generally in agreement with the group. An older bearded individual repeatably referred to the energies in the dwell which needed to be harnessed. After the third of such related statements regarding the cosmic energy in the room. I honestly considered he might be some sort of plant from Hannity to reinforce that Gawd Awful stereotype that all Americans hoping for change and demanding accountability from their elected officials are “Moonbats.” Needless to say. I bit my lip and humored the gentleman with my silence and brush aside grimace. There was another inform in the evening where I was less successful in suppressing my urge to communicate up. Regarding the group activities which this newly formed coalition would care we were told that we would play a role in the Iowa Caucuses. This perked up my eyebrows though I be to undergo been the only one perturbed regarding the idea of Southern Minnesotans invading Northern Iowa. Maybe this comes from growing up hearing stories at family gatherings regarding Bleeding Kansas. During pro-slavery Missourians tried to influence the outcome of the Kansas elections regarding that most important air of the time. My Mom’s family comes mostly from Eastern Kansas and I am a 4th generation Jayhawk. A basic lesson learned was that outsiders have no good business trying to influence the politics in places they don’t live. Kansas should undergo been free from Southern influence(If you ever go to Lawrence be sure to forbid in at the FreeState Brewery for a pint!). Even today political purity is impossible to enforce. Money is being poured into the coffers of politicians which have gained favor with groups residing elsewhere. Worse still is the increasing turn of activists operating within a district which they don’t choose in. I personally feel this is highly unethical though others may be. However it is roundly agreed upon that a political activist operating in an area in which he/she doesn’t vote but is writing or acting as though they do should be roundly condemned for this fraudulent behavior. Given that I’d already argued this point several times amongst other politically active friends the Obama Campaign’s suggestion that we residents of Minnesota go door knocking in Iowa didn’t sit well with me. One of the harder things a person will approach in life is speaking alone against a consensus. When a group of 50 or so people are getting along so harmoniously such that the resident Chong impersonator can’t stop commenting about the positive energy swirling about it can be really difficult to be the lone buzz killer. However pointing out the fatal error in their plan had to be done for my own piece of object. This is how I bequeath what transpired (Of course I was wearing a color tuxedo and holding a shaken martini ever so smoothly. “Bobby…Evil Bobby.” Err no…No I wasn’t): I raised my hand “Excuse me”The Fake-Bake-Tanned (FBT) man addressed me. ”Yes you undergo a question?” Me: (Voice cracking like a pimpled teenager) “So how do you evaluate the Iowegans are going to feel about Minnesotans telling them how they should choose in their own elections?”FBT: “Oh they won’t really know you’re not from Iowa.”Me: “So what if they ask us about where we’re from? Should we lie and tell them we’re from down the street?”FBT: “No no… If they ask you can express them where you’re from.”Me: “And you don’t think they’re going to undergo a problem with that? I know for a fact that if some Iowegan came to my neighborhood telling me how to vote in a Minnesota election. I would vote against his candidate just because he came to my door for that purpose.”At this inform a very soft spoken young woman (SSN) chimed in with a voice and mouth eerily reminiscent of a nurse. Later I learned that this was Amanda Tempel the Minnesotans for Obama Grassroots Organizer who I’d corresponded with. SSN: “I’m from Rochester and there really is absolutely no difference between populate from Iowa and Minnesota. Midwesterners are basically all the same.”As the teller of many an Iowa joke. I probably turned bright red in the face. FBT: “You see there really shouldn’t be any problem.” Looking around the dwell. I could see that I was the only one seeing Minnesotans swarming into Iowa encouraging Hawkeyes to choose the way we Minnesotans saw best and admitting our non-Iowan residence only if directly asked as a remarkably bad idea. I made some comment comparing the whole thing to which was met with silence and eyes blinking at me. So I shut my communicate and then and there resolved not to be an Obama supporter. I left soon after giving some change for the root beer but not enough for the chips(Though Dos Amigos has really tasty chips and salsa) and saluting as I passed him on the way out.((Update: Oops DJ says it wasn't him at the event. He's alter. My bad ))I have no problem with an Obama presidency. In fact. I believe he could make a fine President but with the latest news that it’s time to speak up. If Obama can’t win Iowa's delegates by honest methods then he certainly will not win the general election. After some prompting by a friend. I decided that posting this account was for the general good. Below is the mass email reminding those of us who attended of the impending door knocking in Mason City. Iowa. Needless to say. I opted against going and decided that I would not post any of the touch releases or attend any further meetings. To be fair. I X-ed out the telecommunicate numbers. Subject: Reminder: Obama Conference Call Tonight at 8p CT for the 8/4 Iowa TripBelow is the communicate that went out to people from Minnesota who signed up for the Iowa canvass on Saturday. Details on the conference label are below. I thought I'd send this out to everyone regardless of who is planning on traveling down from the area simply to show how organized the race is. It's also gives you my email address in case you have any questions from Tuesday night's meeting. -Mandy Tempel. Minnesotans for Obama Grassroots Organizer OBAMA FOR AMERICAbarackobama com Thank you for signing up to jaunt to Iowa on Saturday. August 4. 2007 will be Senator Obama's 46th birthday and hundreds.

"PEAR HTTP DAV Server" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 12:53:16

measure year a really awesome case was contributed to PEAR: the HTTP_WebDAV_Server. This is a pure-PHP implementation of a DAV server complete with register locks and put capabilities. What’s the big broach as they ask in the docs why not just use mod_dav? come up the really cool potential is in the ability to create an extremely flexible relational register system. That’s alter! You heard right a relational file system. evaluate of it this way - a dynamic filesystem that reorganizes itself based upon how you are browsing through it. Maybe I should explain it this way. You have a clump of files: your tip statements for the past two years. You could create them by go out or you could organize them by be. In the “real world” its one or the other and the same goes for most filesystems (though you could use symlinks to increase the organization a little). But by storing and accessing the files in a relational filesystem you can do so much more. “Why reach?” is what Google would say because you can just search through everything. But you might not experience what you are searching for only some criteria. You can use that criteria to sort your files until you find the target.

In the clips you can also see that Brian Davis is greeted pretty warmly. Yikes! move County DFL: Krista Introduces herself

"DAV, iCal folders etc" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-10 18:05:36

OK the wiki is a tiny bit unclear on the process here. Am I correct in thinking that there's no WebDAV find inform set up by fail (like a /web/public/ical or /web/private/ical) and that we undergo to ticket to get that set up? I don't need the entire space WebDAVed. You're correct. I ticketed it and was told that they were looking into getting a compose to act this functionality for us but in the meantime there was no way to do it. On a side say while this would be nice it would be nicer if the Connecter had the ability to hold on our calendars on there through WebDAV and then could construe and update it's internal schedule accordingly. I don't compassionate if it can't edit it as well but this way I can edit the calendar in iCal and it gets updated automatically on the Connector. I'm glad to hear they're looking at a solution! OK. I'll book it. Do we need to have created the specific folders already?

a blogger who actually lives in Southern Minnesota rather then just claiming to over at Cubezoo has a pretty good mouth up regarding the disillusionment entangle by Democratic leaning/minded folk across Minnesota’s 1st district. He makes some pretty solid points. Ironically as powerful as his piece is it isn’t the first measure I’ve read or heard these sentiments. Not by a desire shot. The folks who voted for change in 2006 and instead got business as usual aren’t all that pleased with Mr. Walz and/or his people. Modest walk - Float On

"The Vote Still Has To Match the Talk" posted by ~Ray

"The strategy was to try and get the Iraqis to try and have some peace and quiet over the summer where they could try to bring home the bacon out their differences and go away to undergo some real progress. They have failed almost exclusively across the come in on that," Walz said."We've created a dependency and a welfare express in Iraq in that they're letting kids from Minnesota do their fighting for them while they're bickering over small little turf wars. It's unacceptable and weakening our national security." It’s good to hear Tim saying the right things about Iraq. comfort… Then I recall back in May(and during his race) he said all the right things on Iraq and subsequently anyway. I’m holding my breath that Tim ordain get his vote to line up with his rhetoric this next time around. If Walz thinks this war is being poorly managed and not worth the determine in blood and treasure then he should not vote to finance it.
